Show and Tell

Using the activity page from the student book, students can talk about what they did. For example, in HV1 unit 2, after students color their flowers, they can stand up and talk about it. 

S: Hello. I’m Taro. It’s a flower. It’s (color). Thank you.



S: Hello. I’m Taro. It’s a flower. It’s (color). Thank you.


Slow Reveal

Slowly pull the flashcard from behind another card or from behind the board. Vary speed of reveal. Say the syllables or the individual sounds of the word slowly as you reveal it for students to put together to say the word. All the students repeat the word. As you put more flashcards up, go back and repeat the previous vocabulary.
